Welcome to SEODrift. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our application, hosted at https://seodrift-378036956146.us-central1.run.app (the "Service"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you share with us.
Our Service uses Google OAuth2 login via Google Identity Services to provide secure, seamless user authentication and core features.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal and account information to provide and improve our services. Specifically, we collect:
- Personal Identification Details: Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture, retrieved via Google Identity Services when you authenticate with Google OAuth2.
- Google Account ID: A unique identifier provided by Google to distinguish your user account.
- YouTube Metadata: We access the YouTube Data API v3 to retrieve public metadata (such as video titles, descriptions, and tags) associated with YouTube video URLs you analyze.
- Payment Information: If you upgrade to SEODrift PRO, your payment details are securely processed and stored by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is utilized solely to power the core functionalities of SEODrift, specifically:
- Session Authentication: Verifying your identity and maintaining your active login session.
- Creator Dashboard History: Saving your analyzed video search histories (securely stored in our PostgreSQL database) so you can review previous SEO audits.
- SEO & Analytics Generation: Generating optimized SEO tags, calculated engagement ratings, and metadata summaries.
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
"SEODrift's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell or share your data with third parties."
We respect your right to privacy and do not distribute, rent, sell, or trade your Google account profiles or YouTube access data with external organizations, marketing platforms, or third-party networks.
4. Data Security
We employ rigorous technical security measures to ensure your data is safe. SEODrift is built on Spring Security 7 and all persistent data—such as user details and search histories—is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database, protected by standard encryption and access control barriers.
5. Deletion & Revocation
You maintain full ownership of your data and authorization scopes:
- Revoking Access: You can revoke SEODrift's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account Security Settings.
- Full Data Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your user profile and all associated search histories from our PostgreSQL database, please email the developer directly at prancoder@gmail.com. We will process your request within 48 hours.
